A Black Dot
It's a feeling of disbelief, pure excitement, and alarm! It's a rush of emotions as something as tiny as a black dot makes it's way through life, our life! What could've been a polyp turns out to be a baby sac. One solid bar and one faint bar is enough to confirm that a baby's on the way. It's a bit awkward to share the good news since we haven't even seen the heart. As soon as I'm done with the second ultrasound, where the fetal heart should be ecstatically beating, then I'd inform the rest of humanity that we're gonna be parents soon!
