Swimming ends, Marathon begins

It's our last day for the advanced swimming class this weekend. And despite all the strokes that were taught, I still haven't conquered my fear of diving. My instructor had to push me into the pool last time just so I can get it over with the proper way of entering the water. Somewhere in-between mid-air and the water, I managed to spread all my limbs and cry myself out. Then in a matter of nano-seconds, I was somewhere eight feet down, trying to get a hold of myself as tears flowed freely into my goggles. I hate heights and I hate jumping! What's a ladder for in the pool?!

I've seen the videos shot on me as I worked on my laps. I realized that I lacked power on my strokes and that my legs move too far apart! No wonder I'm too slow.

As the swim lessons draw to a close, I now look forward to joining my first ever marathon. The Adidas KOTR this October showcases a really snappy singlet. I'm quite sure that a lot of people will register simply for the singlet. Can't wait to get my hands on those.
