Rainy Days

Maybe it's a good thing that I got reassigned to another project. (So I won't fall asleep in my cube.) People around here seems so busy all the time. They do come and go but you know that whatever it is that they're doing, it's all OB. My work is done and I've to figure out how to keep myself busy so I won't look like I've nothing left to do.

The weather these past few days is convenient for sleep. It reminds me of afternoons where I just stay indoors and enjoy a good book. Speaking of books, they've already release book 6 of the Potter series, it's entitled "Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince" or something. Some of my officemates have fallen victim to major spoilers being spread around the internet. And as soon as the conversation would arise, i've to tell them right away that "I don't want to know". I still have to get a copy of the book. Maybe this weekend.

I guess the rainy weather is a blessing especially for my folks. They've been busy clearing up and harvesting the land, in time for the arrival of my visiting cousins next week. I hope that on the scheduled day that they're supposed to visit the farm, the soil won't be too slippery and the sun is up and smiling. I'm really looking forward to that.

A Backpacker’s Note

Pack light
Some water, sweets
Something to keep you warm
Something to light your path
Bring enough faith and strength
Keep a sharp mind and an open heart
Be supportive and respectful
Be humbled by your surroundings
And never underestimate time

May your journeys be fulfilling
And each day, a blessing
