Info overdose for the past week coupled with internal pressure.
Too much Accounting..
Cost of Meals:
- Monday at TGIF for 3: Caesar's Salad, Fisherman's Platter, 2 bottomless iced tea = P1400++
- Friday at Cafe Breton for 2: Americain Galette, burger steak crepe, 1 soda, 1 calamansi juice = P400++
- Friday, a little later at Masas for 3: 1 pitcher of mango-vodka slush = P299
- Saturday at Tiananmen Bar for 6: hakao, sharksfin, siomai, beef with broccoli, pancit guisado, oriental chicken salad, 5 fruit blends, 1 apple iced tea = P1400++
Year-End Projections:
- Pay less operation cost equals enough profit? how much is the ROI?

To Party or Not To Party
I like the hustle and bustle of organizing parties, especially if it turns out to be a success. If I had the resources, I'll be throwing one this month. It's nice to have my different sets of friends mingling with each other.. my college friends, the gang, those from AITI and AFM, those I met through friends, my officemates, my fellow backpackers.. i'm sure it's gonna be a riot!
The best venue for any party would be a resto/bar. Of course you should have the place to yourselves with a band playing to liven up the group. At least you need not worry about cleaning up afterwards.
And what makes a great party? An interesting mix of personalities in the crowd, some good vibes, enough food and lots and lots of drinks.
The best party that i've ever been to was Mina's birthday at Stars. It's where I first had jellyshots..yum! The crowd was great, definitely a cool mix and I do believe that we all had a great time then. I guess with an open-bar, one can never go wrong.
The best house party for me was Thet's birthday at her home in Caloocan. Again, it's probably coz the booze just kept on coming.
I don't entirely enjoy parties that I organize since I'm too busy playing the host part. But as a guest, I simply let loose.
To those who're looking forward to one, sorry but there isn't going to be any. I didn't manage to find enough conspirators and resources among my fellow Septembrants. But if you're willing to throw one, please don't forget me in your guestlist.
Up Too Early
I woke up with a start when our landline began to ring. My first thought was it being morning, then after looking at my cellphone, realized that it might be the call that i've been waiting for this week. I forced myself to loose sleep then I heard my Dad pick up the call. He can't seem to hear anyone on the other end then later, I heard my sister coming upstairs, mentioning something about the call and then left. I still thought that the call was for me but since they didn't approach my room, I stopped hoping. I got up and used the bathroom. I tried to get back to sleep but it's hard to shutdown my thoughts. I was half-conscious when, again, I jump-started with the message alert I received from Haidz. Then a series of other messages came, greeting me on my birthday. As midnight came and went, the more mentally awake I was so I resolved to getting up and to work on the PC. Since my creative juice seem to be pumping, I've to align it with the tasks I have for the week.. my demo and my entries.
I began my day with restless anticipation of things to come. Somehow, I feel that things will be getting along my way. Even if it means less time to chill.
Birthday Wishes

- a real headlamp.. why, coz it's too expensive for my budget and my P300 headlamp's already busted after just 1 climb. worse, i can't even get the batteries out!!
- girlie bags - blue, brown, red, black: my favored colors according to preference. style: so long as it can be worn on the streets of manila. am not particular on brand coz i'm always after the quality of the work and the artsiness of the piece, something vintage/funky type
- chocolates!!!! - i remember a couple of years back, am not sure if it was my 21st or 22nd bday. my colleagues surprised me with a large paper bag full of chocolates. i was like the fat kid in the chocolate factory, going gaga over all the chocolates that're exclusively MINE!!! mmm...chocl8s!!!
- maybe, but i'd rather not..some books?.. Chronicles of Narnia, Artemis Fowl series, the Celestine Prophecy
Now some things i'd wish not and sometimes for, myself
- to be firm on one's choice, sometimes, we make life-changing choices and i'd rather that you stick with what you feel is right so you'd be able to face the consequences after
- to be grateful of what you have and if you want more, or something else, then you find a way to get it
- to be open-minded and resilient to change
- to make the most of what you have and not waste it
- time and faith
